Keep Our Republic was heartened to see the issues of a peaceful transfer of power and threats against election officials being asked about by the moderators from ABC News, Linsey Davis and David Muir. “Our organization, Keep Our Republic, has focused on election integrity since 2020 when a pandemic posed a challenge and we believe the peaceful transfer is fundamental to our democracy,” said Ari Mittleman, Executive Director.

Mittleman added, “The January 6th attack on our Capitol weeks before the Inauguration was a tragic scar on our history as the world’s longest established modern democracy and it should not be forgotten. We, like the moderators and many of our citizens, are also concerned about any threats on election officials, be it a state’s top election official or the hard working men and women who volunteer their time to make a contribution to our democracy on election day. Through transparency at town halls and educational efforts, we can address these threats and prevent future attacks. At Keep Our Republic, we believe that protecting election workers, preventing interference, and ensuring the peaceful transfer of power are critical to enabling us to keep our republic.”
