In an exclusive interview with Reuters on Wednesday, President Trump said that despite the Department of Justice’s ongoing criminal investigation, he has no plans to fire Jerome Powell. Trump suggested he was inclined to nominate either former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh or National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett to replace Powell.
