Billy Wooten

Billy Wooten lives in Savannah and is a Certified Georgia Election Official. He served as the Superintendent of Elections for Chatham County retiring in 2026. Earlier in his career, he served as the executive director for operations for a national non-profit, Experience Works, where he worked for 31 years. While in the workforce development field, he served as Board Chairman of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) and for a brief time was the interim Executive Director of that Association. He is a past recipient of their National Professional Development Award. He also served for many years on the Board of Georgia Equality.
