Frank J Donatelli has been active in Republican politics for many years. He worked in all three presidential campaigns for President Ronald Reagan and served as Assistant to the President for Political and Intergovernmental Affairs for 1987-89. He was also active in the campaigns of President George H W Bush and Senator Bob Dole. In 2008, Donatelli served as John McCain’s representative and Deputy Chair of the Republican National Committee. He has been active in a number of grassroots conservative organizations over the years.
Donatelli has also spent his career as a respected attorney and legislative consultant. Among his many clients, he represented American victims of terrorism abroad, including families of victims in the bombings of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon in 1983 and two US Embassies in Africa in 1998, helping to secure compensation from terrorist states and their enablers for those heroic families. He helped to establish a permanent revolving fund that compensates victims’ families who have secured federal court judgments against terrorist entities.
