Megan Meyer

Megan Meyer is a Deputy City Clerk for the City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin (est. population of 40,079). She started with Sun Prairie in October of 2024, just in time to help pull off administering a smooth Presidential Election. She first entered the public sector in July of 2016 as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Greenwood Village, Colorado. Megan has also served as City Clerk for Columbus, Wisconsin and as a Continuing Legal Education Program Planner for the State Bar of Wisconsin. At the State Bar, Megan played a vital role in producing several educational events centered around elections from 2018 through 2024. In addition to having earned an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Megan has continued to prioritize education. Last year, she assisted in training five municipalities and their election officials on how to use BadgerBooks (Wisconsin’s e- Pollbooks). In 2025, she led efforts to organize a Children’s Election, Election Open House, and created a specialized “Elections Logo” for the Sun Prairie Clerk’s Office to use in branding communications and supplies. She attends trainings whenever able and is a member of the Legislative Communications & Advocacy Committee and the Professional Education Committee of the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association. She is also a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
