Pamela Marsh served as the presidentially appointed United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida from 2010 through 2015. As a U.S. Attorney, Pamela was the lead federal prosecutor in 23 Florida counties and was the first woman appointed to serve in this position. Prior to serving as the U.S. Attorney, Pamela was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for seven years in the Middle District of Florida.
Following her government service, Marsh spent four years as a shareholder and partner in private practice.
Previously, Marsh served as the Executive Director of the First Amendment Foundation of Florida (FAF), a non-partisan nonprofit that believes government openness and transparency are critical to citizen trust and participation in our democracy. Marsh was a visiting professor at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, and has also advised several nonprofits focused on workers’ rights and homelessness. Pamela graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and went on to earn her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown Law. Following graduation from law school, Pamela clerked for the Honorable Jane R. Roth on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
