Ballots & Battlegrounds
In 2024, Keep Our Republic launched a public forum that brought together the top election officials from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to brief the media – 26 different outlets, including multiple reporters from the Washington Post, Reuters and USA Today – who left with a detailed understanding of state specific safeguards and information to support accurate reporting on the election process from the professionals who run them.
Ensuring election safegaurds
Through this forum, we worked to provide a comprehensive understanding of the election safeguards that ensure the integrity and reliability of our electoral system.
What We Covered
We brought together top election officials from key battleground states to discuss the checks and balances in place at every phase of the election process. We sought to restore public confidence in our elections by offering transparent insights into how votes are counted and protected. Conversations included:
- The role of state and local officials in safeguarding elections
- Measures in place to protect the integrity of ballots
- How election officials respond to challenges and threads to the electoral process
- Public concerns about election integrity and how they are addressed
